Love this bedPeterWe had the twin bed before and decided to get the queen size in the same frame. It’s a nice appearance, rather easy to assemble (provided all the parts are there - IKEA shipped everything, but the freight folks forgot to drop off the beam in the middle, so had to have IKEA ship it again - wonderful customer service).5
Good for the priceBryanFor the price (and for a kids full bed) I don't see what the fuss is about. It is very, very easy to assemble. It took less than 30 minutes with an allen wrench, mallet, and screwdriver. Like with other IKEA products, I put a light dab of thread locker blue on the bolts to make sure they don't loosen over time. 5
Worst bed frame in existenceSThe wood is unfinished pine and put a huge splinter in my palm during assembly. Slats and crossbeam are low quality so the mattress sags and is uneven. Overall this item is abysmally shoddy. I can’t see it lasting for more than a month before collapsing. Also, it is hideous irl. It is just unfinished, cheap, pine 2X2s, full of knots and seams. Since the pine is unsealed and unfinished it is hard to dust and splits easily. It looks like it was assembled from salvage cuttings. If I could give this bed frame a negative rating, I would. It is not worth the cost or the effort of assembling. 1
Difficult to buildAntonellaI've boughten Ikea bed frames in the past, and this was by far the most difficult to put together. It took me nearly 4 hours, and the design was flawed. Additionally, 2 critical screws were missing and I'm still waiting for them to be delivered. Sad day. 3
Major Design FlawChloeI love the look of the bed and overall its very sturdy and easy to put together--disagree with others that it's hard to assemble. HOWEVER, there is a major design flaw. The middle support beam that the slats rest on is about TWO INCHES lower than the slat supports on the right and left side of the frame. Because of this the mattress completely sags in the middle. There isn't really an easy DYI fix due to the placement of some other components. It's so bad that you can visibly see a dramatic sag, aside from the obvious rolling into the middle when you lay down. 1
Worst product at IkeaLa-NayI didn't pay attn to the poor reviews but found out the hard way they were correct. I have several Ikea products, some for years. This was by far the hardest to put together. The screws do not fit do not fit the holes, the cross cross bars are ridiculous and such a poor design. The slats don't fit well.
It collapsed at 2am with my dad in it because the slats gave out. It is an outrageously poor product. 1
New bedKarenWhT a beautiful bed. My daughter put it together for us. She convinced us this was the one to purchase sin e she has one also. 5
UnfortunateGeenaWe went out and bought this bed frame & a mattress in hopes that it would cure the back pain we have been having for MONTHS. Only to realize that we are in so much more pain & have had to stick a 2x4 on one of the sides because the entire bed is at an angle. Completely dissatisfied. 2

Broke after a few weeksMelOne of the front legs cracked when I plopped down on the bed. Another part of the frame has since cracked. We have it rigged up with cinder blocks for the moment to keep it upright but need to replace it asap. We have had this bed for less than a year!1

The reviews are right sadlyNancyI keep hoping i will be the person that won’t have the problems other reviewers mention. Ugh. After the horrid ordeal of assembling the headboard I get to step 7 and am ducked. The pre drilled holes are too small for piece 128780 that are supposed to sit inside them as a channel for the longbolts. And they are too small. All 4 of them (probably 8 but i am not to the footboard.) i managed to hammer in one to the proper depth but bow there are wood shavings in my carpet and i have blunted the end of one. I am going to have to drill the correct sized holes or go through the hassle of a return but it was the last one yesterday. Total pain and really really poor quality control. Horrible as this is mentioned specifically in at least one other review.3
not stableLijunxiongnot stable, but the quality is ok according to price.3
Headboard keeps falling off.JennyHeadboard keeps falling off. The headboard/head of the bed is connected to the bedframe by one screw on each side. The headboard SLIDES on to connect so you can imagine how easy it is to slide off. Any crazy movement and the headboard slides right off and since it is the head of the bed that completes the frame, the other parts just collapse once the headboard is off. What can I do to fix this? I just bought this bedframe a month ago. 1
Love it!!!HaleyVery easy to build, very comfy, it is lower to the ground but it’s perfect!!! Perfect for teenagers and young adults. Wouldn’t 100% recommend for people over 35 but it’s a great bed I love it, was just what I was looking for!!5
Good looking product Horrible off gassingChrisI bought this bed frame because it was the nicest looking one for the most affordable price. The delivery was on time. But unfortunately when I opened up the packaging it had a horrible chemical/pine smell. I thought the smell would quickly fade away. After a week in a half it did not. The off gassing made it increasingly difficult to breath while laying in bed. I ended up having to put it in the garage until I could return it. 2
SlatsJenniferI put this bed together by myself. Instructions are good. My only complaint is the slats should be the full width of the bed instead of 2 separate rows. or a better way to secure them to the frame to keep them from moving.

Looks nice but cheaply made. AlisaIt’s a budget buy, sure. But the middle support isn’t supportive enough, and my mattress is sagging in the middle of the bed. It’s a new mattress so I know that’s not the problem. It’s also super lightweight and made of cheap wood. 3
