샌디에고 한인 학부모회에서 제8회 베네핏 콘서트를  준비합니다. 

격년으로 개최되는 SDKPA 베네핏 콘서트는 지역 학생들의 문화 역량을 키워주는 공연기회를 제공합니다. 한인뿐 아니라 한국문화에 관심이 있는 모든 학생 예술인들의 참여로 이루어집니다. 베네핏 콘서트의 수익금은 샌디에고 한인학부모회에서 운영하는여러 교육프로그램 운영비 및 샌디에고 카운티 내 한인 학생들이 재학중인 고등학교에 기부금으로 쓰여집니다. 콘서트를 빛낼 재능있는 청소년 예술인들의 많은 참여 부탁 드립니다.

♣  신청자격 : 2023-2024 학년도 6th-12th grade 학생

♣  공연장르 : 무대에서 관객을 대상으로 제한된 시간내에 시연 가능한 모든 종류의 공연

         (장르별 선발인원 조정이 있을 수 있습니다)
      -  클래식 음악 (피아노, 현악기, 관악기, 독주 및 중주, 앙상블, 성악 독창 및 중창 등)
      -  전통 음악 (국악, 풍물, 민요, 판소리 등)
      -  현대 음악 (재즈, 컨츄리, 힙합, 비트박스, 포크, 락밴드, 대중가요, 아카펠라 등)
      -  클래식 무용 (포크댄스, 볼룸댄스, 발레 등)
      -  전통 무용 (궁중무용, 민속무용, 가면무용 등)
      -  현대 무용 (K-Pop 댄스, 비보잉, 리듬체조, 창작무용 등)
      -  기타 (난타, 마술-일루젼, 서커스묘기, 단막꽁트, 스탠딩 코메디, 시낭송 등)
 
♣  신청마감 :  7/20/2023 (1차 모집 - 모집 정원 미달시 2차모집 추후 공고)
 
♣  콘서트 일시 :  2023년 9월 16일 (토)  오후 4시 (무대리허설 오후 1시부터)

♣  콘서트 장소 : 샌디에고 연합감리교회 ( 6701 Convoy Ct. San Diego, CA 92111 )

Proceeds from this Benefit Concert will be used for supporting educational programs run by SDKPA as well as making contributions to several San Diego High Schools.
 
♣ Qualifications:  6-12 Grade (based on 2023-2024 school year)
             
♣ Performing genre: Any kind of performances on stage that can be demonstrated within a limited time to audience

        (There may be an adjustment in the number of enrolled players per genre)
      - Classical music (piano, stringed instruments, wind instruments, ensemble, vocal)
      - Traditional music (Korean traditional music, Pungmul, traditional folk songs, pansori)
      - Modern music (jazz, country, hip-hop, DJ-ing, beatbox, folk, rock band, popular song, a cappella etc.)
      - Classical Dance (Folk Dance, Ballroom Dance, Ballet, etc.)
      - Traditional dance (court dance, folk dance, mask dance, etc.)
      - Modern dance (K-Pop dance, B-boying, rhythmic gymnastics, creative dance, etc.)
      - Others (Nanta, magic-illusion, martial arts demonstration, circus tricks, standing comedy, poetry recitation, etc.)

♣ Application deadline: 7/20/2023 (1st round)
    After the deadline, we accept 2nd round applications if and only if we are short of candidates.
 
♣ Audition: Audition performance should be the same as concert performance.
    - All performances should be limited to 5-7 minutes and must be demonstrated without musical score or script.
    - The audition performance should be submitted as a video file (camera, camcorder, smartphone) or YouTube link to public@sdkpa.org
