Position: Research Associate

Responsibilities

•       * Learn and assist in the design and execution of cutting edge nanomedicine experiments, while respecting deadlines

•       * Document, compile, analyze and interpret experimental data

•       * Record results accurately to ensure data integrity, quality control, and protocol compliance.

•       * Learn and assist in the analysis of data generated from experiments using various methods, including numerical methods, and generate thoughtful interpretations of the collected information.

•       * Follow SOPs for various lab processes and maintaining laboratory equipment.

•       * Assist in the maintenance and calibration of all equipment within the lab.

•       * Maintain excellent organizational skills required for maintenance of notebook record, equipment use and maintenance logs, test run logs, and other documentation, as necessary.

•       * Perform other R&D duties and tasks as needed

•       * Maintain a safe work environment by following the company Quality and Safety standards as required

Qualification:

•       * Minimum: Bachelor of Science degree in Life Science or Engineering disciplines or related fields

•       * 0-2 years hands-on experience in an R&D laboratory or equivalent.

•       * Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy

•       * Possess problem solving skills

•       * Experience with experimental design and execution, data analysis, and troubleshooting.

•       * Excellent organizational skills.

•       * Strong collaborative skills.

•       * Able to follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures

•       * Strong work ethic, able to work well independently and as part of a team

•       * Strong written, oral, and presentation communication skills.

•       * Familiar with Microsoft Office Word and Excel

•       * Knowledge of common laboratory practice concepts and practices and procedures is a plus
