Job Description

We are a fast growing group of Asian-fusion restaurants looking for a marketing coordinator and graphic designer. We have 5 different brand concepts with 7 locations total, aiming to open 3 more locations within the next year. Your goal is to attract the target audience. There can be a pay raise after 3 months of probationary period.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Wordpress and Squarespace websites and e-Commerce (WooCommerce, Squarespace)
• Create and coordinate the manufacturing of restaurant signage, decals, and other in-store graphics (murals, wallpapers, etc.) and restaurant materials (check presenters, custom ramen bowls, mugs, etc.)
• Create and coordinate the manufacturing of restaurant merchandise (t-shirts, enamel pins, stickers, etc.)
• Manage and update all print, web, and QR code menu files
• Coordinate with in-house marketer on social media graphic needs and marketing campaign graphic needs
• Create packaging designs for multiple restaurant concepts
• Retouch and Edit marketing/social media photographs when necessary to help maintain the overall aesthetic and mood of each brand online

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Graphic Design or Bachelors of Art/Fine Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design
• 1-2 years experience in a graphic design position or internship (firm experience not required)
• Proficiency in Adobe suite (specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator)
• Proficiency in the web developers Squarespace and Wordpress
• This is an in-office position at our Madison St. corporate office. Work from home is not offered at this time.

Graphic Design

• Develop menus, signage, illustrations, logo, business marketing materials, and other designs using software or by hand
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas and amend designs after feedback
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

Digital Marketing

• Produce new marketing campaigns and promotions that are relevant and on-brand
• Manage social media content calendars, email campaigns, and other marketing tasks
• Monitor Instagram, Facebook, Yelp, and Google Business accounts
• Photograph food, edit photos, and schedule social media content
• Respond to inquires and posts made by customers through social media in order to resolve issues, capture feedback, and protect the brand
• Coordinate with web designer and PR team
• Create and monitor paid media ad campaigns through Facebook, Instagram, and Yelp

Skills

• Proven graphic design experience via a strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
• Must be familiar with Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
• Familiarity with Later, Squarespace and Mailchimp is a plus
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Degree in Marketing, Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
