Description
Job Title:Receptionist/Office Assistant
Location: Carlsbad, CA
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 3:00PM (1 hour lunch break)
Status: Non-Exempt (Contract), Part Time
Report to: Facilities Director
Responsibility:
- Greet and direct visitors and answer phone, screen incoming calls and redirect requests
- Purchase and manage office and common area supplies
- Handle monthly/quarterly recurring charges, and other payment process as needed
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail/ packages
- Receive and process deliveries
- Maintain the common areas such as the lobby and kitchen, and brew coffee
- Update bulletin boards and calendars as needed
- Be aware of any upcoming special events within the company and order goods accordingly
- Ensure office compliance with current COVID-19 protocols
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Excellent communication, teamwork and organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications and ability to quickly learn and adopt new processes
- Authorized to work for any U.S. employer (This role does not provide visa sponsorship)
Preferred:
- 0-1 year of Administrative experience is preferred
- Bilingual in Korean and English
