EDGC is trying to innovate personalized medicine by combining the 30 years’ experience in clinical diagnostics from Eone and the forefront genome research and NGS expertise from Diagnomics. EDGC stands out as its combined effort to pioneer next-generation medical market with professional knowledge. EDGC’s research team, made up of international-level biologists, physicians, and engineers, has successfully analyzed the genome sequences for healthy volunteers and patient volunteers with various cancers or rare genetic diseases. EDGC is pursuing the vision of personalized medicine by developing high-quality genome technology.
EDGC is seeking an innovative and purpose driven individual to join our team in San Diego, CA, who can conduct sales and marketing of EDGC’s genomics solutions.
Key Duties:
The mission of Sales & Marketing Associate is to establish presence of EDGC, Inc. in US, ensure customers awareness, generate leads and opportunities while achieving Sales Objectives and building a reputation of competency and seriousness.
· Lead generation and follow up:
○ Conduct market research to identify new opportunities
○ Participate in tradeshows and conferences
○ Organize local seminars with the support of the technical group
○ Prospect effectively into the Personal Healthcare Market
○ Demonstrate role and relevance of product portfolio related to prospect’s Questions
○ Develop and maintain strong customer connections, continuously work to expand customer base through referrals and networking
· Business
○ Navigate and manage the sales process for services & products and contract negotiations
○ Develop sales & marketing plan with S&M team
○ Maintain and manage the pipeline
○ Monitor and report competitors’ marketing and sales activities
○ Prepare and deliver regular sales forecasting reports
Requirements and Qualifications:
0~2 years' experience in a sales/marketing support role, professional sales, sales operations, or customer service Bachelor’s Degree required; Background in Life Science, Molecular Biology is preferred; Knowledge of Genomics background is a plus Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, project management tools, etc. Knowledge of Digital Marketing and its tools & techniques is a plus. Strong problem solving skills Exceptional communication and presentation skills (Korean speaking is a plus.) Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team 25% travel required
