Bio

Korean soprano Naré Yang, hailed for her "highly expressive phrasing", "strong voice", and "tender inflection", started her musical journey in America with San Diego based companies, San Diego Opera and Opera NEO. She is an Apprenticeship artist of San Diego Opera's young artist program(2017-2018) and performed with Opera NEO as Sidonie in Armide(2017), Night in The Fairy Queen(2016) and covered as Zerlina in Don Giovanni(2016). Recently she was selected as 1st place winner for La Jolla Symphony&Chorus Young Artist Competition 2018, 2nd place winner for Virginia Hawk Scholarship Competition 2018 and 3rd place winner for Virginia Hawk Scholarship Competition 2017.
