얼라이언스 샌디에고 공고: Paid Canvasser Positions Available at $14/hr.!!!

Do you want to empower the Asian American & Pacific Islander community for change? Alliance San Diego (www.alliancesd.org) is hiring paid canvassers for its Fall 2016 Voter Engagement Program. The program, which started on Monday September 12th, 2016, will end on Tuesday November 8th, 2016. The work shift is 5 hours a day, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday throughThursday, and 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturdays.

We will be walking neighborhoods in Mid­-City, Southeast San Diego, Clairemont Mesa, Kearny Mesa, and Mira Mesa. The program will educate residents on local issues impacting our community.

If you are interested in educating and motivating Asian American & Pacific Islander voters for a brighter San Diego future, we have a position for you!

Qualifications:

● Good communication and people skills.

● Ability to read and write in English.

● Energetic and physically able to walk up to 2.5 miles during each work shift

● Prior canvassing or equivalent experience is a plus.

● Proficiency in an Asian American & Pacific Islander language is a plus, but not required.

Pay rate is $14.00 per hour. 
Positions are part-time & temporary.
