Job Description

 

 

Position:  Warehouse Associate

Location:  Carlsbad, CA

Status:  Non-Exempt

Office Job/ Field Job: Field job

 

 

Responsibilities:

·         Receive, identify, mark, log and place materials sent to the warehouse according to established procedure

 

·         Process requisitions for customers; prepare materials and stock for delivery; prepare packages for shipping according to established procedures

 

·         Assist with providing necessary security within the warehouse

 

·         Maintain a variety of records, files and reports; maintain records of inventory and order supplies as necessary

 

·         Operate a variety of warehouse equipment and vehicles; utilize a variety of hand tools as required; arrange for the maintenance and repair of warehouse as needed

 

·         Conduct monthly, quarterly, yearly physical inventory and maintains the accuracy of the inventory

 

·         Organize and maintain warehouse and inventory yard areas for efficient material storage and handling; maintain WMS (Warehouse Management System) system on each stock item

 

·         Comply with lean work methods and keep workspace in a clean and orderly manner

 

·         Comply with all required safety and quality regulations

 

·         Participate in continued learning and skills building as required to support the business

 

·         Other duties as assigned

 

 

Requirements:

 

·         1 ~3 years of experience in electronics industry preferred

 

·         Forklift license preferred

·         Ability to move objects from floor to above shoulder level

 

·         Ability to perform: push, reach, stoop, stand and lift (up to 50 lb)

 

·         Working knowledge of computer applications.

 

·         High school diploma or G.E.D.

 

·         Team Worker, Good Attitude, Energetic
