안녕하세요!
꼭 샌디에고에 계신 분들이 아니라 오렌지카운티나 엘에이에 있는 분들도 설문에 참여바란다고 합니다. 나중에 training workshop을 하게 되면 workshop 기간동안 필요한 참가자들에게 샌디에고에 숙박을 마련할 수 있기 때문입니다.
한국어 교사로 일하시거나 관련 일에 관심있으신 분들께 알려드립니다:
San Diego State University의 LARC department에서 2015년 여름 (5월 말- 6월 중순) 사이에 2주간의 language teacher training 을 실시할 예정인데 Korean language teacher training은 얼마나 needs가 있는지 알아보는 설문조사를 실시하고 있습니다. (다른 언어 training 도 실시하기때문에 한국어 선생님들의 needs 가 높아야 실시한다고 합니다) 현재 한국어 교사이신분들을 비롯해 한국어 가르치는것에 관심이 있으신 분들은 아래 설문조사 링크를 클릭 하셔서 설문에 응해주시면 감사하겠습니다. 마감일은 11월 3일 입니다. (설문은 약 2분 정도 걸립니다)

Dear teacher of Korean language: Will you do me a big favor and take the survey below? It'll help bring a Korean teacher training program to San Diego. I thought since you have the potential to be a teacher of Korean language, it would make sense to send it to you. If you have other Korean teachers around you, or anyone who may be interested in teaching Korean in the future, please feel free to forward it to them.
About organization:
STARTALK, a federally funded program, promotes sustainment and development of less commonly taught languages through a two week summer intensive teacher training program in the United States (program for 2015 will most likely be held between late May - mid June). The program will be free and participants can earn four units of graduate level college credit. For more information about Startalk please visit https://startalk.umd.edu/
We have been funded continuously since 2010 to offer such programs to teachers of Arabic, Chinese, Dari, Hindi/Urdu, and Persian at San Diego State University. We plan to add Korean, Portuguese, and Swahili to our grant proposal for the next year. Currently, we are collecting data as part of need assessment.
