Specializing in multi-family renovations for over 25 years, Regency General Contractors is a leader in turn key renovation. We are currently recruiting for the position of Field Coordinator in the greater San Diego area.

Description:
We are looking for a Construction Field Coordinator who possesses the right mix of experience, integrity and growth oriented attitude. Ideal candidate will have experience in Construction Management with a focus in multi-family and commercial renovations and/or tenant improvements with a strong emphasis in leadership.


Responsibilities:
1.  Manage and coordinate budgets, schedules and subcontractors from conception to completion, while preparing, reading, approving and executing thorough scopes of work.
2.  Efficient change order management and cost controls skills mandatory including reviewing and approving requisitions and invoices.
3. Must be able to create and foster excellent relationships with clients, architects, city employees and anyone else involved in our business to effectively assist us in maintaining our excellent professional reputation.
4. Create an environment where you can coach, teach, mentor and develop existing and new associates; set standard of behavior & performance for team members to follow.
5. Direct all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget and with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
6. Promote job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectify job site hazards immediately.


Requirements:
1. Three years' experience in Construction Management preferred.
2. Highly flexible, solutions based, forward thinking individual, capable of assuming a greater role beyond the traditional "Manager" function. Needs to be an integral part of the customer service support team.
3. Have a keen eye for blueprints and drawings to "see between the lines" and apply them to a project.
4. Candidate must possess strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a strong emphasis on organization.
5. Must possess very clear and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
6. Proficient with Microsoft Office Software, (Project, Excel, Word & Outlook).
7. Must be able to analyze problems and make sound decisions in a timely manner based on objectives, risks, implications and costs.
8. Tactful and mature demeanor with well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with diverse personalities.
