for Terminal/Mobile Devices | San Diego, CA

Job Description:

·        Engineer needed to enhance the security architecture of terminal product (mobile device) through testing security model, and guarantee the confidentiality, integration and availability of the Terminal product

·        Study the industry best test practices for terminal product to provide methodologies, guidelines, and training

·        Analyze terminal product vulnerabilities promptly with and security incident response team

·        Perform penetration test or vulnerability discovery of terminal products and recommend appropriate solutions to identified vulnerabilities

·        Develop security test scripts and tools for terminal product line

Qualifications:

·        Master or higher degree (preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or Computer Science

·        3+ yrs. work (R&D) experience within well-known Terminal industry 5+ yrs. experience in Security Audits, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing;
Familiar with Terminal product architecture, operating systems, and security features, Android is preferred.

·        Familiar with one of the security technology such as: Trustzone, DRM, Mobile payment security and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) Security

·        Prior experience in handling Penetration Testing on Mobile Network, O/S , Apps; Understand the general methods used to attack Terminal, including jailbreaking, rooting, sidejacking, and web application attacks

·        Ability to conduct Security Assessment for Mobile apps, Web Services / APIs (WP8 & Android), Ethical hacking techniques to break the SIMLock ( carrier Lock) , PKI ( Public Key Infrastructure) Certificates , confidential user data bases in terminals ( contact details)

·        Ability to cooperate with a team of international experts including marketing, R&D and standardization
