Logistics Coordinator - CSR (Otay Mesa/ Chula Vista area)

IMEX Transport, INC. is looking for customer oriented enthusiastic individual with positive attitude to be Customer Service Representative with our Logistics Team. We need someone who can add value and contribute immediately.

Responsibilities and Daily Duties include but not limited to:

1. Data entry and reconciliation
2. Follow up on request and provide feedback to carriers and our customers
3. Detailed shipment tracking from beginning to end
4. Satisfy target KPI
5. Inter-department communications to meet our customer's demands


A. Requirement:

• At least 2 years of experience working in logistics/transportation
• Must be available to work Monday thru Saturday; including holidays as schedule requires
• Must be a quick learner
• Work with urgency
• Must be detail oriented while multi-tasking
• Must be able to work under strict timeline
• Must be organized, detail oriented, and reliable
• Must be able to work as a team
• Must be punctual & have an excellent proven attendance record
• Comply and support Drug Free Work Place Policy

B. Education and Experience

Required: High School Diploma or G.E.D. and a minimum of 2 years of related experience
Preferred: BA or BS

C. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

Required: Valid Driver License Required

D. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

• Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally via e-mail, telephone, and 2 way devices
• Must be well versed in Microsoft Office programs; including Outlook, Excel, and Power Point
• Must have adequate typing speed
