Smartphone Test(QA) Manager & Engineer
For Manager Position
Roles:
The test manager will lead a testing team and be responsible for testing activities. He/she will also be:
†Developing testing framework, test cases, test checklist, test schedule, and summary report
†Coordinating work process such as planning, assigning, and monitoring all the test activities
†Managing a team to successfully deliver testing related outcome on time and with the highest quality
†Attending analytical discussion session with development team and quality management team
†Managerial talent and experience- to recruit, manage, mentor, and grow a Technical QA/Testing Team
†Creating and managing the Testing Framework
†Leading, managing, and mentoring the Testing Team
Basic Requirements:
†5+ years experience in mobile software testing industry
†㈀+ years experience in test planning and leading role
†Ability to create and execute test cases
†Experience with Android OS
†BS in Computer Science or Engineering degree
†Ability to read one or more scripting and coding language
†Strong communication and interpersonal skills
For Engineer Position
Roles:
The test engineer will perform various testing on Android OS based smartphones in the quality management team of the Korean electronic company. He/she will follow the written test cases to verify all the functionalities of the devices and check if they are performing as designed. If any issue is found, he/she will generate a detailed report for R&D to analyze. Testing areas include basic feature testing, network testing, performance testing, and automation testing. Tester will support and collaborate with other engineering teams and project managers to find solutions to the issues found.
Basic Requirements:
†BS in any engineering or degree in computer related discipline is not required but preferred
†Armed with fundamental knowledge of application programming and testing
†Experience with basic Android OS features and various 3rd party smartphone applications
†Experience with C, C++ and/or Java programming languages
†Candidates with armed with fundamental knowledge of other application programming and testing are also qualified
†Knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications for Both Manager And Engineer:
†Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
†Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with other engineers and project managers
†Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously
†Ability to follow written test cases and written procedure
