Position:            KOREAN Bilingual Telephone Interviewers

Location:           Down Town San Diego, CA 92101

Compensation:      $9.00 per hour depending on experience

Our client is a custom research firm that offers survey data collection in Asian languages.  Their complete in-house facility provides state-of-the art computer systems for data collection.  Telephone Interviewers are a vital part of a successful research project. You will be part of a team of telephone interviewers who will gather meaningful information to be used for research purposes.  Previous experience is not necessary as our client conducts their own training program.

We are seeking energetic and self-motivated KOREAN individuals that are fluent in reading, writing and speaking Korean/English.  Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication in both their native language and the English language.  Telephone Interviewers will be speaking to the Korean community to gather information on their use of utilities. 

Requirements:

• High School diploma or some college and/or community affairs experience.

• Verbal and written communication skills in both English and native language.

• Customer Service skills – clear telephone voice, good telephone manners, courteous and accommodating.

• Type at least 30 words per minute.

• Write legibly and record answers accurately.

• Persuade respondents into doing survey.

• Record responses verbatim.

• Read well and have a good command of the English-language.

• Read CRT screen and/or paper questionnaires.

• Perform high quality interviews.

• Good probing skills on “open-ended” questions.

Hours:  12pm-8:30pm (4) weekdays with one weekend day shift.

This is a full-time temporary position that will last approximately one year.

Some part-time 20 hour work weeks are also available.
