안녕하세요? 저는 UCSD Political Science (정치학) Major를  Honors로 졸업한 Phillip Lee 입니다. 저는 미국에서 태어나고 자란 한국인 입니다. 저는 지난 4년간 학생들을 과외 했고, 영어 과외는 2년간 해왔습니다. 제가 현재 과외를 하고 있는 분 중에는 올해 UCSD에서 Ph.D (박사학위)를 받은 분도 계십니다.

저는 굉장히 활발하고 즐겁게 수업을 하는 것을 추구합니다. 저는 한국 친구들  보다는 미국인 친구들이 더 많기에 다른 많은 영어 과외 선생님들과 달리 기본적인 문법과 어휘만을 가르치는 것이 아니라, 미국문화와 상황마다 써야 하는 맞는 영어를 가르칩니다.

한국에서 막 오신 분들은 당장 필요한 생활 영어와 회화, 그리고 기본적인 문법을 중점적으로 도와드립니다.

미국에서 지내신지 조금 되셨는데, 아직 영어가 서툰 분들께는 상황마다 써야 하는 여러 가지 용어들과 발음 교정을 해드립니다.

학생분 들은 숙제와 시험 공부, 특히 독후감 쓰기나 책을 읽고 해야 하는 문제들이나 프로젝트를 잘 도와 드릴 수 있습니다.

아까 말씀 드렸듯이 저는 초등학생은 물론 UCSD 박사학위를 받으신 분도 가르친 경험이 있기에, 학생 분들에게는 영어를 확실히 가르쳐 드릴 수 있습니다.

Experienced, fun, and energetic English tutor! This program is designed for those who have a basic understanding of the English language, but have trouble assimilating into the American culture because of their accent, poor grammar, or general lack of understanding of the American culture. I will teach you proper English in order to help you get a job, do better in school, or just simply gain more confidence in your English speaking and writing abilities. While this program is intended for all foreigners, my specialty is with Koreans since I am a Korean-American who can speak and understand the language. This is beneficial because I will be able to explain things in Korean if you are having trouble understanding it in English, and you will be able to ask me questions in Korean if you are having trouble expressing yourself in English.
