Job position: (Quality) Test engineer

The test engineer will perform various testing on Android OS based smartphones in quality management team. He/She will follow the written test cases to verify all the functionalities of the devices and check if they are performing as designed. If any issue is found, he/she will generate a detailed report for R&D to analyze. Testing areas include basic feature testing, network testing, performance testing, and automation testing. Tester will support and collaborate with other engineering teams and project managers to find solutions to the issues found.

Qualifications:

·         BS in any engineering or degree in computer related discipline is desired

·         Experience with basic Android OS features and various 3rd party smartphone applications

·         Experience with the C programming language (C++, and Java language)

·         Genuine interest in smart devices and willingness to learn and make improvements

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

·         Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

·         Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with other engineers and project managers

·         Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously

·         Ability to follow written test cases and written procedures
