4차 산업 혁명이 진행되는 과도기적 상황에서 국제 정치 및 경제 흐름을 잘 분석하고 있는


영국의 The Economist 기사를 읽고 토론하는 모임입니다.


(온라인 모임으로만 진행합니다)

매주 수요일 저녁 7:30~10:00 시간 그룹을 신규 모집합니다. 



1. 스터디 진행 방식


1) 이코노미스트 독해 및 토론


총 2시간 30분 중


1-1) 전반부 1시간은 미리 정해진 이코노미스트 기사를 한문단씩 멤버들이 돌아가면서 해석하면서 기사의 배경과 내용을 함께 이해합니다. (운영자 Young 혹은 자율 리더가 진행)     


















1-2) 후반부 1시간 20분은 두가지 옵션 중 선택하실 수 있습니다.




 1-2-1) 위 기사의 쟁점에 대해 해외 살다온 Assistant와 영어로 토론합니다.
         (후반부는 참관만 해도 됩니다)




 1-2-2) 위 내용과 관련된 쟁점에 대해 한국어로 심층 토론을 합니다.  


  -> 2011년 11월부터 2020년 6월까지 8년간 한국어 경제 신문 토론 모임을 진행한
      영어스터디센터 운영자 Young이 진행합니다.


2) 경제 서적 읽고 토론하기


매월 두달(8주)에 한번 정해진 경제 서적을 읽고 와서 한국어로 쟁점 토론을 합니다.

2013년 이후 해마다 외시 (외교원) 최종 면접 대비 스터디 모임을 진행하고 있어서
외시 준비하시는 분들에게 잘 알려져 있습니다.




특히 2017년 8월에는 외교원 2차 합격자의 40%가 최종 면접 준비를 하셨고, 
2018년 8월에는 외시 2차 합격자의 52%가 여기서 진행된 스터디 모임에 참가하기도 하였습니다.
