샌디에이고 심포니 오케스트라 ‘2005년도 서머 팝스
깊어가는 샌디에이고의 아름다운 밤 하늘을 만끽할 수 있는 음악의 향연이 다운타운 엠바카데로 마리나 파크 사우스에서 펼쳐진다.
올 공연에는 추억의 팝가수 호세 펠리치아노의 앙코르 연주를 비롯 다양한 주제로 지역 음악팬들을 기쁘게 해줄 계획이다.

July 1-3: "Fourth of July Celebration." Matthew Garbutt conducts a star-spangled, flag-waving, all-American celebration.
July 8-9: "Three Divas of Broadway." Vocalists Debbie Gravitte, Christiane Noll and Jan Horvath perform renditions of hits from "A Chorus Line," "Les Miserables," "Evita," "Gypsy" and more.
July 15-16: "Piano Spectacular." Three young stars perform Rachmaninoff's Variations on a Theme of Paganini, Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue and other romantic favorites.
July 22-23: Jose Feliciano. Mr. "Light My Fire" and "Chico & the Man" performs an evening of Latin soul.
July 29-30: "The Three Phantoms." Craig Schulman, Cris Groenendaal and Mark Jacoby reprise their roles from Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Phantom of the Opera."
Aug. 4: Toto. Not Dorothy's dog from "The Wizard of Oz," but the 1970s-'80s musical group, combining with the San Diego Symphony in an evening featuring Toto hits "Rosanna," "I Won't Hold You Back," "Hold the Line," "Africa" and more.
Aug. 5-6: "Opera Comes to the Pops." Another Pops tradition, but this one closer to "heavy" classical music -- rousing overtures and well-known arias.
Aug. 12-13: "The Classical Mystery Tour." "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," "Abbey Road" and "Magical Mystery Tour" performed by original members of "Beatlemania!"
Aug. 19-20: The Dave Brubeck Quartet. One the most popular artists in Summer Pops history returns.
Aug. 21: "Bugs Bunny on Broadway." Original cartoons featuring Bugs Bunny and his Warner Bros. pals, accompanied by the San Diego Symphony.
Aug. 26-27: "Salute to Motown: The Spinners & Thelma Houston." Dance fever hits the stage as Houston takes you back to the days of disco.
Aug. 28: Burt Bacharach. With added material, this is an encore of last year's performance by the songwriter-singer, whose career spans the 1960s to the present.
Sept. 2-4: "1812 Tchaikovsky Spectacular." The "1812 Overture" is performed with the roar of canons and bursts of fireworks. Also on tap, Tchaikovsky's "Rococo Variations" with cellist Julie Albers.

Shake and Make Ice Cream Day
엔시니타스에 소재한 퀘일 식물원이 제공하는 프로그램으로 6세 이상 12세 이하의 어린이를 대상으로 하고 있다. 열대 식물의 투어와 함께 아이스크림을 스스로 만들어 먹어 보게 된다.

La Jolla Concerts by the Sea
올해 22회를 맞은 미 해군 밴드 사우스웨스트의 공연. 팝과 스윙 등 다양한 장르의 음악이 라호야 코브에서 연주된다.

U.S. Open Sandcastle Competition
프로와 아마추어들을 위한 모래 조각 팀 경연대회. 올해 25회째를 맞는 전국적인 행사, 우승팀에겐 5000달러의 상금이 수여된다.
