Description
SAN DIEGO CALVARY KOREAN CHURCH is seeking 1 full-time EM pastor(Education part) and 1 part-time Sunday school pastor who can align with the church’s vision statement and minister to the members of the English congregation.
Position
- Full-time EM pastor to lead whole EM ministry(M.Div Graduate or higher)
- Part -time Youth Pastor for Sunday school groups(Current M.Div Student).
Qualification
<Full-time
pastor>
1) Leading Whole English Ministry
2) Sunday preaching,
leading small groups, and visitations
3) Establishing and leading various committees (welcoming, missions,
fellowship)
4) Work closely with pastoral staff and lay leaders
5) Legal to work in the U.S.
6) Fluent in English(bilingual preferred)
7) Ordained in
Presbyterian or Reformed denomination with experience in leading young
families, single working professionals, and college students
8) Understanding of organizational leadership such as Korean church structure
and policy
Requirements
<Part-time pastor>
1) Sunday preaching for
youth group, leading small groups, and visitations
2) Work closely with pastoral staff and lay leaders
3) Mentoring staff, counseling members, and discipleship
4) Fluent in English(bilingual preferred)
