SUMMARY
An Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Restaurant Manager by delivering exceptional customer service, follow proper food safety procedures and be a standard bearer. An assistant manager will also be responsible for supporting Restaurant Manager to complete daily tasks, training, running day to day operations, control financial data and provide great hospitality to our customer. Your job includes meeting quality assurance standards for food preparation, recipe guidelines and making sure your location is maintained and presentable. You are the right hand and the second in charge and will be fully responsible when the RM is not present. You will be required to understand the financial data and support the RM create better strategies to retain customers and to increase store sale.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Ensure all food safety systems are in place and followed
• Apply thorough knowledge of all the policies, practice, and procedures
• Oversee day-to-day operations
• Support RM with Hiring process and employee Training
• Create relationship with customer
• Understand cost budget, P&L, and support RM control all aspects of financial data
• Be an expert for all different positions in the restaurant and be able to work different shifts when required
• Obtain good communication skills
• Ensure the growth of team members and shift-supervisors
• Complete all vendor order by guideline and make adjustment when necessary
• Maintains safe, secure, and sanitized facility by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standard and procedures; comply with health and legal regulations; maintain security systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 1 - 3 years of restaurant management experience (QSR restaurant preferred)
• College Degree preferred but not required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. up to waist
• Must be able to pass background check
• High energy and self-motivated
• Ability to solve problem quickly
• Has proven knowledge of all critical compliance and regulatory matters such as HAACP, OSHA, EEOC, Safety & Sanitation, Responsible Alcohol Service, etc.
• Proficient in MS Office
