Retail Branch Service Officer (San Diego, CA):

 Bank of Hope is currently seeking a qualified candidate for our retail branch in San Diego.

 Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the efficient and effective functioning of the retail branch, with emphasis on customer service and branch operations.

• Ensure that the branch operations staff members attend the operational and training meetings, as needed, such that staff is aware of regulatory compliance issues, policy and procedures, customer service, and all relevant information.

• Ensure the facilities and securities management of the branch are within policy and procedure guidelines.

• Perform periodic certifications of all branch operations related area including reconciliations of balances of GL and accounts.

• Able to work effectively with other departments and resolve operational issues in a timely manner

• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Minimum five years of experience in banking and three years in a supervisory position is preferred.

• Ability to analyze and organize financial information and perform complex financial calculations is preferred.

• Detailed knowledge of banking regulations and laws; compliance documentation, and reporting requirements.

• Bilingual in English & Korean preferred.

• Proficient computer skills and knowledge required.
