▲ Understanding psychological problems
▲ Understanding multicultural competence

▲ Listening skills
▲ Mentoring skills.
The National Association of Peer Program Professionals (NAPPP) has awarded this program as the best program and it was the very first program to be awarded from Asia.
The main purpose of the Solian Peer Supporter Program for the overseas participants is to have a better understanding, increase communication and promote leadership skills. After completing the program, participants will become peer supporters of their cohorts experiencing difficulties and become influential individuals in this society.
In addition, this program will focus on creating a healthy Korean American community by exploring acculturation issues as well as evaluating their emotional well-being. Our hope is that this program will become the foundation of our Korean American youth becoming the next leaders in a multicultural and global society.
